Research

Research in the Chaudhari Lab is in two broad areas: musculoskeletal imaging, and neuroimaging. The research is interdisciplinary, and involves active collaboration with researchers, physicians and patient advocates.  Following are our major research areas (please click on the links below for a detailed description of each area):

Musculoskeletal Imaging

  • Imaging Biomarkers of Autoimmune Arthritis
  • Imaging Biomarkers of Myofascial Pain
  • Real-time Imaging of Moving Joints
  • Computational Analysis for Evaluating Joint Morphology and Biomechanics

Neuroimaging

  • Imaging biomarkers to assess the Impact of Neurotoxin Exposure
  • Molecular Imaging of Alzheimer’s Disease

Grant Funding

Research in the Chaudhari lab is supported by research grants from the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, National Psoriasis Foundation, and the California Breast Cancer Research Program.
